I have had this DeviantArt account since 2007, and it's now 2016. I recently realized 1) I still have this account, and 2) I haven't posted anything besides a single journal entry in the past 5 years. That doesn't mean my art has stopped - I don't think we can be human beings without creativity or imagination. We just funnel it down different paths, and other things in my life took priority for awhile.
I'm a very different person than I was since my last submission. And while it's good to have the past to look back on, I felt the best use of this space would be to start fresh. You'll notice all of my previous journal entries have been remove
